Privacy policy

This policy explains what AI Shield collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to useaishield.com.
What we collect
Very little. This site has no sign up form, no account, and no newsletter. You can read everything here, including the free checklist, without giving us anything.
- Order information, only if you buy a product. Payment is handled by our checkout provider. We receive confirmation of the purchase and the email address used, and we never see or store your full card details.
- Basic usage data, such as pages visited and general location at country level, if website analytics are enabled.
How we use it
- To deliver and support any product you purchase.
- To email you about a purchase you made, such as an update to the guide.
- To understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with advertisers. We do not add you to a mailing list because you visited or downloaded something. We do not send messages asking you to confirm passwords or payment details, and we will never phone you unexpectedly to request money or account access.
Service providers
We use a small number of third party services to run this business. Each processes data on our behalf under its own privacy terms:
- Payhip handles checkout and delivers the guide. Your payment is processed by their payment partners, and we never see or store your full card details.
- Netlify hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.
We do not currently use an email marketing platform, because we do not run a mailing list.
Cookies
This site uses only what is needed to function and, where enabled, basic analytics cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from reading anything here.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. We do not maintain a marketing list.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. To make any request, email theaishield@gmail.com. We will respond within 45 days.
Colorado residents. Under the Colorado Privacy Act you have the right to access, correct, delete and obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling. We do not sell personal data, run targeted advertising, or profile anyone. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our response, and if the appeal is denied you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under other laws, such as the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
